Freedom riders 1960's

This is a map that me and my other freedom riders traveled during the 1960 for equal rights sometimes even having to walk because people that was against the freedom riders would bomed the bus. For me it was not only for blacks it was for all "colored" people blacks, Spanish, Chinese all races that were treated unequally. In this map you will see arrows that are dated from April 22 through December 1 you will also see how many of are freedom riders were arrested and releasted.

The freedom riders mainly traveled to fight aganist the jim crow law. These laws consist of seperate waiting rooms bathroom,schools,parks,resterants and many other things for black and whites, and as you would expect the whites had the better schools parks drinking fountings exc. blacks were fourced to live poorly.





I think all freedom riders are heros because with out them only god knows where the world would be today so to me all freedom riders are heros

 

   

As a freedom rider ive seen alot with how people felt about blacks and the "Nigger lovers'' as the racest white men would say about the whites that stood up for the blacks. the pitcture above shows a police officer with the dog letting the dog bite the black freedom rider and the officer is holding the man. you would see things like this alot because at time the most whites didnt like blacks standing up for themself inany kind of way.
